Catching Up with Kurt Lockwood

It was any other evening on the Sunset Strip when Kurt Lockwood ran into Stephen Baldwin and his camera crew for the VH1 show, Brother Baldwin. But Baldwin, after approaching Lockwood to spread what he called "the word of God" to call porn a sin and porn stars sinners, the star of The Usual Suspects got quite a mouthful from the straight male pornster.

"If you are so interested in spreading the 'word of God' why aren't you in the Sudan building houses or Kenya building hospitals?" Lockwood said calling Baldwin out on his Bible thumping. "Why are you here instead on the sunset strip talking to porn stars? Because it's more glamorous? Being a false prophet like yourself is way worse in the Bible than any screwing around I'm doing. In the Bible, Abraham had over a thousand wives and fucked his wives' handmaidens, too!"

As Lockwood got up from the table to leave, Baldwin told him that he would pray for his soul and Lockwood responded, "I'll pray that you receive more tolerance of other people's faiths and spirituality."

The next day, Lockwood received a call from Baldwin asking to meet him at Venice Beach where he apologized to the porn star for "using the Lord's message as a weapon" and asked if the two could be friends. Lockwood graciously accepted and VH1 is set to air the episode in March 2007.

Meanwhile, Lockwood's band is opening for Dave Navarro at The Dragonfly in Los Angeles on November 15th and I hear a rumor that his next movie is a lavishly produced parody of the popular film, Boogie Nights, set to shoot late this month.
