Kathy Griffin's Father Passes Away

Host of this weekend's upcoming GayVN Awards in San Francisco, Kathy Griffin is having a rough go of it this week. The comedianne's father, as often seen on her hit reality TV series My Life on the D-List, passed away.

GayVN head Doug Lawrence says they have heard "no news," which most would assume to be "good news" from camp Griffin regarding her status as the host of the show. Griffin also has a gig the same weekend playing to a packed house at The Mandalay Bay in Vegas.

A "thank you" letter to her fans for their condolences has just been posted to KathyGriffin.net, wherein no mention is made of cancellations.

Looks like Kathy's a real pro. "The show must go on!"
