David Forest Arrested ...Again

I spoke with famed manager to the gay porn stars David Forest this afternoon from the Van Nuys jail where he has been held since Saturday evening for possession of narcotics. This is his second arrest for the crime in nearly a month, having previously been jailed on March 7th and released on bail five days later.

But this time his bail is set at $55,000.00. And Forest has had difficulty getting ahold of his attorney, Betsy Mogul. He tells me his court date is set for tomorrow.

"This is all part of the previous problem in early March," says Forest. "They came back again with a search warrant. They have their eye on me now I guess. They're after me. The narcotics amount is nebulous. I didn't even think I had anything on me, but they found a tiny amount of cocaine in a sock or something. They took my computer away from me. It's just ridiculous. This is harassment."

Due to the arrest, Forest was unable to attend the Q-Me Con panel he was scheduled to speak at this past Sunday in Los Angeles.

In February 2006, Forest was acquitted on two charges of pimping and pandering. In 1986, Forest was sentenced to 19 months in prison on pandering charges.
