PSW Recap: Jayden Holloway & Francois Sagat

Jayden Holloway was our very first Porn Star of the Week, appearing first at here Lounge for Porn Star Games on Wednesday, August 22nd from 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm, followed by The Porno Palace at MJ's Bar on Thursday, August 23rd from 10:00 pm - 1:00 am.

Porn Star Games, hosted by your truly and pianist James Lent, was definitely the most stressful of the two, having not had the day before to stage, prep or rehearse due to the fire at Micky's blocking off most of the area. None of us, least of all Jayden Holloway, had any idea what we were in for.

Fortunately, the show went off without a hitch, incorporating Holloway's interview with porn trivia games, porn prizes and porn themed musical numbers throughout the evening.

Through a game of porn star charades, we learned that Holloway doesn't like cum on the face, but does enjoy being tied up. He also confessed to loving sex in public.

Though the twink porn sensation did mention what he referred to as his "on-again, off-again" relationship with Brant Moore, he would only say that he had no clue whether it was "on again" or "off again" at the moment and that he prefered not to discuss his private life publicly these days.

Games that went over extremely well with the audience included the porn star games, "Who Is More Hung?," "Top, Bottom or Versatile?" and "Name That Porno." The undisputed winner of the evening was Angel Benton who knew more about gay porn than I think anyone ever gave him credit for until that evening, proving he's more than qualified to be the new editor of Just Us Boys magazine. His knowledge of gay porn movies and its stars was nothing short of astounding to fellow audience members. (He knew more than ME! That's saying something!)

In between the game rounds and interviews, James Lent and I performed musical numbers together and separately, including one tailored to the porn star, "Jayden In The Afternoon." (A take-off on the Kander & Ebb song about an escort, "Arthur In The Afternoon.") When the audience tried cheering for Holloway to sing a song, the boy became so flustered and scared, he flipped off the crowd and screamed, "Fuck you! No! It's not gonna happen! I can't sing! Please stop!"

Fortunately, go-go boy Bryan Hawn was less nervous and belted out a few stunning power ballads and gay anthems for the crowd.




The following evening, in addition to Holloway's interviews and performing with MJ's down and dirty dancers throughout the night, The Porno Palace received a last-minute surprise treat when Titan exclusive Francois Sagat agreed to make an appearance.

Sagat had been slated to appear at Micky's Cocktails with the Stars and since the unfortunate fire that left Micky's inoperable earlier in the week, his agency, FabScout Entertainment, suggested he appear at The Porno Palace to appease his Los Angeles fan base for the evening.

Playing twink bareback porn on the big screen and televisions throughout hte bar with nearly naked go-go boys writing around on boxes and platforms, it was clear that The Porno Palace was to be a very different event from the evening's cute and campy predecessor, Porn Star Games.

The first thing Sagat did was make very clear how much more comfortable he is now on stage since his last time being interviewed by me at Micky's. His English has also become clear as a bell since then, making it possibly the first totally coherent conversation we'd had with each other.

Though I introduced Sagat as a Titan exclusive and talked up their web site and movies from the stage, Sagat was very quick to mention that "it doesn't matter" because the company "does not promote" him and that he is "only recognized" from work he's done for "other companies." Yeah, a few jaws were dropping in the audience over his candid remarks on that one.

During the course of the interviews, Sagat revealed that he is not a huge fan of fisting, but that he did it for the movies. Almost everything else he has done on camera though, he loves in his personal life.

That tattoo on his head was, as always, a topic of conversation, and for the first time I heard that not only was the experience incredibly painful but that the artist wanted to play loud music the whole time, to which Sagat had to beg him to turn the music off for the duration of the process because it was hurting his head.

Editor of Cybersocket magazine and host of Cocktails with the Stars, Scott Boardman, joined me on stage for our big porn giveaway portion of the evening. As Scott sat on stage with Francois, I came out into the audience and let them ask him questions of their own. If Scott in his interviewing expertise felt it was a good question, they got a free DVD and t-shirt.

Over half of the questions asked by the crowd pertained to barebacking. Sagat said he didn't understand Americans obsession with those movies. "It is something you do on occasion," he said, "but we shouldn't. It is really dangerous. But people like it, I see."

The Porno Palace is EVERY Thursday at MJ's Bar in Silverlake from 10 pm - 1 am.
