Lucas Entertainment's "Gigolo"

I'm impressed with Lucas Entertainment's epic of the year, Gigolo, more than I have been in Michael Lucas's past starring vehicles he's directed alongside Tony DiMarco. It's better shot, the sex is hotter and the acting is superb. And let's get this out of the way right off the bat: It is one of the most mainstream looking gay pornos ever shot, if not the most mainstream, like every Lucas Entertainment epic that seems to out top the last in that way. Whether people will be as interested in it or not is a different story.

The only real problem with Gigolo is that it's a turn off. While its plot certainly reflects the brilliance of an indie movie, the fact is that this is a gay porno and while we love our big budget features, we like them to be sexy. Gigolo is a depressing story about a guy who is forced back into the seedy underground lifestyle of hooking after the death of his lover, only to find times as a hooker even more hard than they were before and eventually he too winds up dead. Is there anything at all hot about this? No. Nor does it make you want to go out and pick up an escort any time in the near future.

The story is fascinating and the script along with the acting are enough to keep you watching in between the sex scenes -- and that is ironically its curse. If you fast forward and just enjoy the sex scenes, you won't find yourself bogged down in the depressing darkness and even death of these characters forced to live out other people's fantasies to make end's meet.

Lucas fucks Jason Ridge in the first scene and it features some of their hottest moments together on camera. Ridge is an incredible bottom and gets fucked in multiple positions before taking a massive load from Lucas all over his face. It's one of the few facials of Ridge's career and one of his hottest on-camera moments. Lucas always manages to bring out the best in him.

Lars Svenson is another hooker who bangs Jason Sparks in an incredibly hot scene that also includes facials. It's the rough-house style of fucking Svenson is known for and the director's cut features the two of them also pissing all over each other. This is followed up by a three-way with Ray Star and Zack Randall taking turns plowing new Lucas Entertainment exclusive, J. It's a hot introduction the newest member of the Lucas family and he can sure take a lot of cock, there's no denying him that!

The hottest moments though are those where it seems Lucas as a director has taken a page from some extreme hardcore straight movies. These are extreme moments not often caught on camera by lead gay porn companies and it's hot to see Lucas carry it out.

In past reviews, I've said that it seems Lucas Entertainment movies always either feature amazing prodution values or amazing sex but never both. Here, they finally feature both. They just happen to sometimes cancel each other out.
