Grabby Weekend: Day One

We are live from Chicago, ladies and gentlemen, where the games have begun!

I wound up on the same plane out of LAX as director Jett Blakk and porn stud Nick Capra, with us getting into O'Hare with just enough time yesterday to check into our respective hotels, shower and get ready to head out to the Grabby Welcome Party. It's a tradition that the former year's "studio of the year" host the welcome party so this year it was Hot House.

Sister Roma hosted the event at Spin with Mr. Pam capturing a lot of behind the scenes action for a future episode of The Tim & Roma Show that I suspect will be dedicated to the entire Grabby Weekend.

Director Steven Scarborough was looking studly as always and their latest behind the scenes employee Christian Owen was a perfect host making sure everyone was taken care of. Director Jett Blakk was in attendance as well as porn stars Francesco D'Macho, Damien Crosse, Steve Cruz, Zackary Pierce, Johnny Gunn, Ross Hurston, Brent Corrigan and Trevor Knight.




It was here that I ran into Billy Masters, who is performing what I hear is a hilarious one-man show in Chicago right now. He certainly performed a hilarious one-man show for us here on camera when he decided to dive into the D&R pool, weighing in on the Jesse Santana controversy and his own appearance on the show this week. (And here I'd thought we'd all finally moved on. But this was just too delicious not to post -- even with bad lighting!)




The night really got jumping though at Charlie's where Chi Chi LaRue and FabScout Entertainment were throwing the weekend's kick off party, dubbed "Skin Trade." FabScout's boys performed on go-go boxes on the stage throughout the evening -- easily a dozen of them! -- with porn stars circling the club for photo sessions, random make out sessions and lots and lots of drinking!

In addition to those at the welcome party, Skin Trade saw Jason Ridge looking incredibly buff, Blake Riley cozying up to old flame Christian Owen - who can resist, right?, Brandon Baker wearing a T-shirt he had made that says "I LOVE JASON SECHREST" on the front and "...a little bit." on the back (my jaw was on the floor for a good solid 40 seconds, I haven't been so flattered in a long, long time! And who says Brandon Baker has a problem saying "I love you" ?!) , Braxton Bond who apologized for flaking on something I don't remember him flaking on, Dean Monroe looking drop dead gorgeous all the way from London, Nick Capra whipping out his dick every chance he got, Angel Benton pimping the Suite 703 shirt and Rusty in a pink ballcap is always the icing on my cake. *wink*

The grand finale of the evening came when Jet Set Men exclusive Jesse Santana and Guy Parker arrived and performed live. After having problems with their flight and being stuck in an airport all day and night, the two boys came to the venue straight from the airport just so they could put on a show for their fans before the night's end! What a couple of pros!




And a perfect end to a perfect first night!
