My First Week With Four Shows (And Yes, I'm Fucking Exhausted ...And Yet Can't Wait for Wednesday)

We kicked off our first week of four shows with Porn Star of the Week: West Hollywood Edition @ Here Lounge, a night packed full of hundreds that came out to see Brent Corrigan on Wednesday from 10:00 pm - 1:00 am. Corrigan was the most warm, professional and easy to get along with I've ever seen him, an absolute to delight to both me and the many fans who came out to see him. Corrigan danced at midnight on the main stage, signed autographs and gave away tons of copies of his new Prodigy Pictures/Dirty Bird movies, Brent Corrigan's Summit (our pick of the month in the JC Theatre) and The Porne Ultimatum. Then on Thursday it was time for Porn Star Alley: Silverlake Edition @ MJ's Bar, where we experienced our busiest night to date as hundreds flowed in throughout the evening to meet Hot House exclusive Johnny Gunn in the flesh for happy hour from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm! While I dragged Cameron Marshall along with me for the evening, Gunn brought along his current boyfriend, fellow Hot House exclusive Nick Piston (who is also a bartender at MJ's) and told the story of how he used to jack off to Nick years before getting involved in porn. When he said he also sought out Hot House as the company he most wanted to work for, things started to sound a little stalkerish! Soon they will have been together for an entire year and the two sober studs seem to be stronger than ever.




Friday's debut of Porn Star Alley: West Hollywood Edition @ Here Lounge was... well, what can we say, it was Friday, the 13th! It seems Here Lounge, in all their excitement for the new show, forgot to hire a staff for the evening! LOL... So the doors were not opened when we arrived, nor were there bartenders or staff on hand with which to have a show! And it seems an audience also forgot to attend, for the most part. No worries though, my first shows are generally like this and take a while to catch on, as you'll remember with the sparsely attended Wednesday and Thursday shows back in late 2007! I have learned to just go with it when new shows start up. Thankfully, Dean Coxx was a consumate professional, greeting people at the door with me for the first hour before we all headed on over to local bar Fiesta where we had cocktails with Dean! It was a much more intimate affair and kind of fun to give his fans a chance to just hang out with him privately and get to know him better on their own terms without my jabbing a microphone into his face! This Friday's Porn Star Alley: West Hollywood Edition @ Here Lounge from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm with guests Rod Barry and All Worlds Video exclusive Cameron Marshall, however, should be all set to go ...so don't forget to show up this time, peeps! I need all my friends at the new shows until the word gets out there. ;-)




Surprisingly, the second new show debut of the week, Porn Star of the Week: Silverlake Edition at MJ's Bar from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Sunday with Nick Capra ...was packed the second I walked in the door! I was a little taken aback and intimidated at first, to be honest. Here I was expecting to walk into a crowd of maybe a dozen people, but there were two dozen alone just on the dance floor, another two dozen at the bar and maybe three dozen out on the patio! And the MJ's crowd ate up Nick Capra like no tomorrow! Capra got down and dirty dancing on stage, whipping out his dick when he could and having JABB Management dancer/pornster Beau Marcus go down on him or eat his ass from time to time. Marcus along with popular Weho dancer Jimmy and porn stud Lex Sabre were the evening's go-go dancers, which I fondly referred to as "The Keebler Elf Dancers" throughout the night. And let me tell you, that Sabre can move! Who knew he was such a good dancer?
