Marilyn Chambers Dead at 57

Legendary adult entertainment actress Marilyn Chambers, star of "Behind the Green Door," was found dead at 57 in her Santa Clairta mobile home Sunday. She was found by her daughter McKenna and the cause of death is not yet known.

I had the opportunity to interview Chambers many times throughout her illustrious career, specifically during her big comeback as I was first getting into the industry in 1998 when was signing with then-powerhouse VCA Pictures.

Chambers had other bouts of fame in a more mainstream light, featured in a small role opposite Barbra Streisand in "The Owl and the Pussycat" and as the "cover girl" on Ivory Snow soap boxes. She was also the star of David Cronenberg's film, "Rabid," in 1977.
