Freshmen & Men Magazine Undergo Changes

There's been a rumor circulating today that Freshmen Magazine & MEN Magazine are folding their print publications and moving entirely online.

NOT TRUE!

We hear from the head honchos over at the mags that they are going to become double-sized special quarterly editions from now on. They also will be launching new sites and creating a new online presence, much like they've done with Unzipped Magazine's hot new daily blog.

Yes that sure worked for Life! They were I believe the first one to try the quarterly concept and soon folded.

Unzipped online is a very good site but has anyone figured out how to make money doing online only?

Cause we know this 4X a year mag concept simply will not work.

So what monthly mags are left?

And does anyone care they all went by by?

Of course we must all share the blame, I cannot remember when I last subscribed to a magazine.

Maybe people where get bared of white gay for pay "Studs" on the cover, and a host of nameless Brazilian trade month after month after month.

The uproar after Reese Rideout won Man of the year last year really brought to the front line, how the magazine was discriminating against gay men, I (like most) stopped buying the magazine after that.
