Chris Steele Claims "Suicidal Spiral" Led To Falcon Departure
Members got a chance to see legendary gay porn performer/director Chris Steele live on my web show, The Young & the Curious, last Friday where he openly discussed what he called "a suicidal spiral" that led to his departure from Falcon Studios.According to Steele, he had been perscribed a medication to stop smoking that he did not realize was an anti-depressant. When he went off the meds while shooting for Falcon in Europe, all hell broke loose. "I stopped smoking!" he sighed, "But I went crazy."
I mentioned that there were rumors of arguments with the higher-ups that led to Steele's leaving the company. "There were many arguments but there was no one argument," said Steele, adding that those fights were uncalled for and a direct result of his altered mental state. "They even offered to keep me on as a director and I managed to mess that up too." He said he fully regrets the way in which things were handled and that he "threw away a great position."
He also took the opportunity to apologize to manager David Forest who he says he "went off on" via phone without reason. "He didn't deserve that." Steele said Forest was an excellent manager and made him a lot of money during his time with Forest Entertainment.
Steele said he had no intentions of coming back to the States at the time the shit hit the fan, much less continuing in the adult entertainment industry. He contemplated taking his life.
That all seems to be very much behind him now. Looking remarkable and sounding more mature, grounded and stable than ever, Steele remained optimistic for his future saying, "That's life. You make mistakes and you move on."
Steele is moving on to head up the Los Angeles division of Centaur Films. The company has an office in Chatsworth that, for many years, has gone unused. Steele will breathe new life into the studio and begin directing his first movie under contract for Centaur, the latest in their Hot Cops line, on Valentine's Day here in Los Angeles. The movie is set to star Trent Atkins and Carter Longway.

he's a mess...too late for all that phoniness...thats what he did the three times he quite prior to the last time...he'd blow up and then come back like a puppy with its tail between its legs

Chris is a bully? What does that mean? Absolutely nothing. Falcon is full of shit. The people who work there are so full of themselves that they all think they are better than everyone because they have all been fooled into some crap that they are the best and always will be. Falcon is a shitty porn company and anyone who quits or leaves is better off in the long run.
YES! Chris is a bully. It has nothing to do with any studio. And frankly, any job has its ups and downs you moron.
The is a very long list of people who have done better after leaving that studio.
He's not a good director Falcon are well rid of him.
In other words Chris, you were an asshole, you knew you were an asshole, but Falcon kept taking you back until they wised up, and now that you are out of job and NO ONE wants to hire you because you are an asshole, you are kissing ass and are resigned to go work for Centaur, a company that hasn't made a decent video in a good two years.
The asshole at Falcon is named Troy Prickett.
Chris was smart enough to leave before the company filed Bankruptacy which they did as of yesterday.
LOL the only person who ever ran out the door screaming was Troy Prickett who quit on a Friday and came crying asking for his job back on a Monday. To the dismay of every single video reviewer in the business they hired him back then promptly demoted him to casting boy.
Demoted? I just recently went from Manager to Director and although I do assist in recruiting I'm still very much the 'Director of Promotion and Model Development'. Asshole? Yeah, sometimes I am - to people who deserve that asshole side of me. Anyone who means anything in this business knows I'm not an asshole so those pathetic losers who waste people's time on a daily basis by writing such crap can just keep on writing. I've been at Falcon for 3 years and I'm extremely proud of my accomplishments, and, I'm happy to say that I have NEVER thrown a diva temper tantrum. There are THREE people in this industry that I consider to be unstable, they know who they are...and they know who they are because I've been very honest with the three of them and told them exaactly how I feel. One of them hates me because three years ago he wanted my job and didnt get it (does he represent all the reviewers ...the second hates me because he's repeatedly done shady things involving our models and I've called him to the carpet...and the third, well, I could go on for DAYS as to why he doesn't like me but let's just chalk it up to pure jealousy and insecurity. If you want a true review of my personality and work ethic ask ANY model that has been an Exclusive with Falcon, the person I report to and my co-workers here at Falcon, they can tell you that I am anything but an asshole. Good luck to the pathetic posters who felt the need to lash out.
