I like "Clips of the Day."
But the best ones are the ones that don't load or play automatically when you pull up your News Desk page unless I, THE READER, click on them.
Notice how Youtube and Pornotube offer a still image of the video with a "click to play" button instead of automatically playing a video link?
This makes watching the video, playing the sound and choking up my memory OPTIONAL — it's ALL MY CHOICE, for me to control.
I admit, I hate when I log on to the News Desk and the loud "XBIZ AWARDS" video clip from KSEXradio automatically plays (from your "King of the Red Carpet" entry).
It's really loud, bothersome and broadcasts to everyone at home or in the office that I'm off-task; busted watching porn clips LOL.
If only I could control whether to make that clip play, all would be well ...
Bret - The "red carpet" video was my fault and should have only been playing automatically for abour half a day. I fixed it as soon as I saw it was doing that. Right? And the new clips that are up are fine, right? They aren't starting automatically over here on my end. xo L, J.
jc i was really sick of the re runs on the red carpet thingy LOL. looked like a fun time though.
the clips are great, hope you keep them and add new ones more often.
No one's answered my question though! LOL Does the red carpet thing STILL play automatically or has that stopped? It has stopped over here on my end. Hasn't been doing that for a while now. Let me know. Thanks! xo L, J.

The red carpet thing still plays anytime I pull up the News Desk page.
Keep the clips that aren't automatic, however. Everybody likes those.
By the way, I use the Safari internet browser.
I use Apple computers, OS 10.4.8.
If I pull up the News Desk using Safari or Netscape, the Red Carpet clip automatically plays.
BUT, if I pull up News Desk using Internet Explorer, the Red Carpet clip DOES NOT automatically play.
Microsoft created both Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player, which is the format the Red Carpet clip is in.
I wonder if only Windows OS or Internet Explorer can obey the Windows Media Players' instructions not to play automatically.

Bret - GOT IT! That explains a LOT. Thank you so much. I'll do what I can but can't help everyone's browsers. Internet Explorer is actually the most frequently used. Maybe there's a setting in your options? Let me see what I can do from my end too. xo L, J.
