Ginch Gonch Signs Project BE
Project BE, the mainstream modeling team of Ethan Reynolds and former porn star Benjamin Bradley, was signed to a modeling contract by Ginch Gonch this week. The two will be bulging out all over for the clothing line's web and print ads.Pray. Pray very hard, Ginch.
Pray this couple of nearly one year never break up. Can you imagine the nightmare that will ensue at promotional appearances? Actually, don't pray. That would be kind of fun to watch.
It is indeed a shame that Benjamin Bradley will no longer be performing any adult movies for the time being (as reported weeks ago in the "Diary" write-ups from the GayVN Awards in San Francisco last month) and Rascal Video has said that they are greatful for all of the movies they shot under contract with him and will welcome him back with open arms should he decide to return to adult movie making.
But Benjamin seems to definitely be done. He removed his blog today and his site now redirects you to Ginch Gonch's.
One thing people aren't seeming to note in all of this:

Yeah. We all know how these "relationships" and "retirements" of people whose only job is dancing in clubs, do porn and "model" go.
Personally, I think this Ethan guy is a sycophant and starfucker and he's the one who persuaded Benjamin away from porn so that he himself could have his own 15 minutes of fame.
Ginch Gonch was sponsoring events before the movie that Falcon did wearing the undies. I would say that was the foot in the door.
Also, why did Falcon not sign Benjamin? Wasn't he dating a Falcon boy at the time? The other gay porn blogs are saying that his Falcon boyfriend wouldn't let them.
Sounds like Falcon must have sent some money to you to help them cry over another lost opportunity.
It was just a little while ago they were whining about not having nominations for their work. Then whining about not winning awards while Lucas Entertainment swept up.
Maybe they should stop whining, and getting others to whine, and start focusing on WHY they are no longer near the top!
Jason you sayin it would be fun to watch them split is not very Kabbalah. Madonna would be dissapointed!!
10:48- As much of a fan as I am of Falcon's I kind of agree with you that their movies just aren't what they used to be and I think a lot of the difference has to do with the exit of John Rutherford.

I agree wm. I also agree with others on here. This entry sounds like a hit piece and its very one sided. But the problem is that the fault seems to rest with Falcon. Something obviously happened to them. Every movie is Matt Rush, Erik Rhodes, and Roman Heart related it seems. Two look like they are sharing the steroids and the other one looks more like a crack whore. I was at the after party for the awards and they could have cut off their hands and none of them would have noticed. They were feeling no pain. BUT I guess they forgot they were interacting with fans.
Maybe Falcon should worry about their movies and their stars more than they do underwear, dildo sales, and webcam. But hey, what do I know? I just buy videos. lol
Why should Falcon studios get anything from Benjamin's and Ginch Gonch's stint together?
And what does Falcon care? Benjamin Bradley's porn shelf life is pretty much expired for now. I don't see Benjamin's not-necessarily-permanent departure from porn as Chi Chi's or Falcon's loss. Good for Benjamin.
The real problem is that not even Benjamin or Ethan on their best days can make Ginch Gonch products appealing. They had better pray gay men's fashion sensibilities get trashier and tackier if they want to grow. I mean, Underoos for grown, gay men? "It's pedo-riffic!"

Honestly, I was just joshing! LOL... Benjamin and I are good friends and I wish him the best. There is, however, just a tiny tinge of me that wishes he weren't entering into a partnership (professionally) that seems so very co-dependent. I'm sure he is making the right decisions for himself though. And as for Falcon, I just thought it was an interesting connection that seemed to be going unnoticed. No one is whining. You took the words right out of my mouth Jason! Codependent. When he was with Roman he got into porn just like him. Now he is with Ethan and getting into modeling just like him.
I admire that Benjamin and Ethan are working together. I wasn't very familiar with either until I heard about their Ginch Gonch signing. They seem like they could be great role models for the gay community. I'm tired of watching cracked out porn stars ruin their lives. More power to them!
Roles models ? A pornstar and a guy whose only claim of fame is a blog and dating a pornstar ? Role models ?
No disrespect to them both - I am sure they are nice guys - but being hot (and even the very fact that they are is arguable) does not a role model make. And the fact that's what seems to determine whom the gay community treat as celebrities (cough Reichen cough) is very very depressing and I think detrimental.
It is so sad that so many of our talented ones are in the closet that this should be what we admire. And I am saying being a big porn-watcher and porn-gossip reader. But "role model" ? Come on now.

I agree with you on some level. I'd personally consider Bayard Rustin a better role model, even though sadly he is deceased.
