Chris Steele Sets Up Shop At Jet Set
As much as I love (almost) everything Falcon ever puts out, I did say the second Chris Steele exited the company that he would have absolutely no problem finding work with his incredible talent as a director. I also mentioned I thought Centaur Films was just an "odd" choice for Steele and not neccessarily where he blonged.
I have a feeling Steele will feel much more at home in his new role as the head of development for Jet Set Productions. He confirms, "I was employed by both Centuar and Jet Set in an arrangement where I would split my time between the two studios since both are distributed by Marina Pacific. But then the guys at Marina decided they wanted me at Jet Set full time so that's where I am now."
Steele has been at Jet Set for two weeks now and just wraped his first movie for them, Proven Straight, on Saturday. He wrote it. He cast it. He produced it. Mark Reed directed it. It stars Jet Set exclusives Nickolay Petrov and Sebastian Young along with Andrew Justice, T.J. Young, Christian Owen, Jorden Michaels, Hans Ebson and two "brand new very hot boys" Kurt Wild and Zach Rockwood. (Zach, by the way, is the one who topped Jason Adonis in that "other" bottoming debut.)
"I'm really happy with the arrangement and I'm teaming up with Mark Reed to start up several more productions for Jet Set this year," says Steele. "We're planning to shoot one new movie a month for the rest of 2007. Mark is an awesome director and producer. Together we make a great team and I think you'll really see alot of new things coming up at Jet Set as a result."
By the way, the Jet Set site got a make over recently. If you haven't checked it out yet, visit: www.JetSetMen.com
