Poll of the Day: Vegas, Baby!
I'll only be attending these events and will be there from Friday morning through Sunday afternoon, but I know some people who are going to all three conventions (Internext and CES, too) and staying for two weeks! You going this year?
P.S.: It's always a lot of fun, but it's also really hectic and insane. I went and worked there for seven years in a row and decided the past two years to take a little break and just STAY HOME. It's been long enough though that I am now officially excited for the first time in forever to be back at the expo!

Yawn. The gay studios participation in the AEE and Internext has all but disappeared. Just take a look at the 'stars' scheduled to be at Hustlaball...mostly a bunch of c-list nobodys. I don't think there's one major studio 'exclusive' star scheduled to appear. C'mon rats...don't be the last one's off the sinking ship!
7:02 - I don't know that I completely agree with that assessment. I know Jet Set is bringing all of their exclusives out this year along with a lot from Falcon and Lucas Entertainment, Chi Chi will be there, Lucas Entertainment and Jet Set exclusives are headlining Hustlaball... You know, I remember just a few years ago when there was one gay booth in the far corner and it was just Stonie sitting there signing because Regiment happened to be the gay brother company of Pleasure Productions. When I started going to the expo in 1998, that was the ONLY gay presence there. The show has come a long way and continues to grow. It's still nothing compared to how much straight porn is there, but it's really their awards show weekend and their weekend to shine. And it makes sense. If it's the overall adult entertainment expo, there is far more straight porn made every year than gay porn so naturally an overwhelming percentage of the convention floor would be devoted to straight companies and talent. There's about six times as much of it out there. xo L, J.
Regardless how long these people plans to stay in this industry, they are the future megastars in the making that rule the industry for the next 3-5 years.
I really think it's an insult and being unfair to label them as "C-list nobodys". You don't become "A-list super star" overnight.
I think it's great that the gay studios have a presence in the mostly straight convention. Yay! for the A-List Boys who will be there to represent! And rasberries to the old bitty's that will stay home and pout abuot it.
