Mary Carey Tells Tyra All Porn Stars Are Drunk and High
After starring in the new season of the VH-1 series, Celebrity Rehab, it seems that whack job Dr. Phil got her to not only swear off the booze and pills, but porn too. And how? Philster had her start practicing ballet again, something she did as a child, as a way to open her subconscious to who she was before she became the party girl porn star slash California governor candidate.
Well, now Carey has cut off all her hair and goes on Tyra to say something to the effect of, "I know everyone in porn is going to hate me for saying this, but every girl in porn is drunk and on vicodin. I was drunk and on vicodin every day and if they tell you they are not, they are lying."
Um... So Tina Tyler, Nina Hartley and Kylie Ireland are all drunk and on vicodin?
And hey, Brittany Andrews only does GHB and xanax! So let's not stereotype your addictions.
And let's face it, you might not be the best person to judge the porn industry considering that the entire time you were here... you were admittedly drunk and high!
Let's review.
Mary Carey became a porn star because it brought her fame.
Mary Carey became a pill popping boozer because the reputation brought her more fame.
Mary Carey ran for governor of California because it brought her even more fame.
Mary Carey appeared on Celebrity Rehab because it brought her still more fame.
Mary Carey is getting sober because it's bringing her the most fame yet!
Mary Carey will go back to pill popping and boozing when the 15 minutes of sobriety-fame are up. Why? Because she knows the return to form will be headline news for some sites.
She's no dummy. Just a junkie.
And hey, I'm not judging! ...I'm drunk and high right now.

If it wasn't porn she ain't "somebody". She wouldn't be able to get on to Celebrity Rehab nor Tyra Banks.
I'm less bothered in this case cause I didn't follow her career at all.
Do you think we should just disregard these people who were once active in porn but now shrugged everything off in order to be in the mainstream?
Your Mary Carey in review almost works. #2 doesn't fly though and unravels the rest. If Mary had said "A lot of girls in porn..." Instead of "All girls..." Would you still ridicule her?
jimyvr - No, I don't think we should disregard them. Their comments are hurtful to the reputation of the adult industry -- which unfortunately is something we really have to look after due to an administration that wants to bring us down. The last thing we need is the public helping them.
7:52 - Absolutely. If she had said "some" instead of "all" ?? That's a BIG difference.
