Erica McLean Reaches Out to Viewers Via Social Networking

A lot has changed for Erica McLean in the past few months. She’s gone from the unsung woman behind the girls, helming Hustler Video’s best selling “Barely Legal” series, to being labelled one of the industry’s most widely acclaimed new visionaries as the director of the stylistic masterpiece “Hardcore Circus XXX” that has received rave reviews across the board and is becoming one of LFP’s most talked about movies of the year.

Now in pre-production for a new movie, an erotically charged undertaking of Lewis Caroll’s “Alice in Wonderland,” Erica McLean is asking viewers: “What do you want to see?”

With official accounts on Twitter, Facebook and MySpace, for the first time in her career, Erica McLean has gone viral, using social networking to invite fans on her journey and inviting them to take part in the moviemaking process. “I have my own vision of what I want to see on camera, but I like having multiple partners. I enjoy having my vision take a different shape on the wings of someone else’s suggestion or insight,” says McLean. “It’s a great way for me to stay in touch with the people who watch my movies. The idea of being able to connect to so many people at once… it’s quite titilating, isn’t it?”
