2007 Grabby Award Nominations Announced

Trevor Knight is a happy boy today! He's leading the pack of performer nominations in the race to the The 2007 Grabby Awards. He is joined by Hot House as the company with the most nominations and Falcon Studios' The Velvet Mafia, Part 1 & 2 as most nominated movie.

The ceremony itself, as always open to fans and hosted by Chi Chi LaRue and Honey West over Memorial Day weekend in Chicago, will be co-hosted this year by Falcon exclusive Matthew Rush, Hot House exclusive Kent North and Rascal exclusive Johnny Hazzard.

Notice anything missing from the nominees? Michael Lucas has been snubbed by the organization ever since an on-stage outburst of deragatory comments regarding "manager to the stars," David Forest. The show's producer, "Daddy" Ferguson, said it wasn't the time or the place and vowed to never have him back. Ferguson sadly passed away last year. His feelings on the subejct, however, were clearly not buried with him.

The Grabby's are claiming they never received Lucas's movies for review. Lucas says he sent them and has made serveral statements this week that the ceremony's organizer, Stacey Bridges, has expressed a personal disdain for him on several occasions. Bridges refutes all claims.

Ironically, David Forest has been the first name announced as one of the "Wall of Fame" honorees this year.

LaRue is currenly in Chicago shooting an opening video sequence for the show.
