Ridgeline Films' "A Rising Star"

Well, one thing is for sure.

You're certainly going to get your money's worth out of Ridgeline Films' debut title, A Rising Star. With the feature itself clocking in at nearly 3 hours in length (the Extended Version) plus an entire second disc choked full of bonus features, the only complaint anyone could make of the movie is that it's scenes are rather lengthy. The highly anticipated pairing of Jason Ridge and Roman Heart alone is 40 minutes long! But if you're as avid a porn watcher as I, you'll agree: Better lengthy than cut too soon! And I must say, I see Ridgeline's dilemma in not wanting to cut the scenes down. There's just too much hot sex to let it go to waste. None of this footage should've been lost to the cutting room floor.

There is no denying A Rising Star is the best put together company debut of the year. From packaging to sex scenes, it's one helluva film opening with Matt Cole's swan song to the industry getting bent over a car and banged hard by Joe Strong. There's mass chemistry between the two and Cole literally screams and moans his way throughout the scene while Strong talks dirty to him. There's plenty of Cole's fine hole on display too, as Strong not only rims him before the scene, but eats his ass after he's been fucked too! It's dirty and we love it!

Jason Ridge's scene with Andrew Justice is really one that takes place in three parts. It begins in an oral scene by the pool where Justice busts a load on Ridge's chest and face before he ejaculates on himself. From there, they move to the showers where they flip flop for each other. Justice does a fine job of taking it, but it's Ridge who really shines as the bottom turning out a performance on par with Cole's from the scene previous. In the third part of the scene, outside the shower, Marcos David joins them. Justice and Ridge both take turns banging the hell out of him and at long last, the scene is complete.

This is nothing though compared to the 40 minute romp with Jason Ridge and Roman Heart that follows. As you can imagine, in 40 minutes of hardcore sex footage, there aren't many positions or sex acts that these two don't try! But it's Heart who bottoms exclusively here and Ridge proves himself once again to be one of the industry's most versatile talents, pulling an incredible scene out of one of the most insatiable asses in the genre. The shots of Heart's ass spread in piledriver are not to be missed. It is hands down the best scene of either performer's respective careers.

The movie ends in a hot three-way where Blu Kennedy fucks Marcos David and gets fucked by Andrew Justice in a hot sex chain -- standing up, lying down and anything in between you can think of! Being outdoors in the bright sunlight of Palm Springs, it is the harshest lit.

Kudos have to be given to writer/director Dylan Ryan who captures all of the sex so beautifully and perfectly lit that the movie couldn't be edited down to a regular time frame.

By all accounts, A Rising Star is the kind of movie you would expect to see from a company that has been at it for over a decade, and it exceeds the production values and downright hotness of some of the biggest studio releases of the past year.

Watch past the credits for hysterically hilarious footage of Marcos David, whose first language is definitely not English, as Jason Ridge tries desperately to coach in him dialogue to no avail, turning a hard day's work into a veritable Carol Burnette skit.

Oh and do you recognize the voice on the phone? It's a special cameo from the movie's production manager, porn star Rob Romoni!
