Blake Riley Responds to Bisex Controversy
 I don't know if you caught my last episode of "Bottoms Up!" -- and if not, members can soon watch it anytime here in our show archives -- but Blake Riley's interview was one of our best yet! The Channel 1 Releasing exclusive opened up about the controversy surrounding his appearance in the bisexual movie, "Shifting Gears"; about how many of the gay porn fan forums really blasted him, claiming they would never watch another movie of his again knowing that he took a job having sex with a girl when he's actually gay.
"I had to stop reading them eventually because they really started to hurt my feelings," Riley told me. Though he never responded on any of the forums, when I asked him what he would say to those people if he could, he said, "I guess I would just say that I'm sorry. I didn't realize some people would take it so personally. I can't please everyone, I'm only one person. I just looked at it as a job. A job's a job. It was something I was curious about and interested in exploring and I had fun. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't do anything differently though and if Chi Chi came to me and asked me to be in another one, I would probably do it. I had fun. I'm sorry it upset some people so much though."
When we started talking about his life off-camera and what he likes to do for fun, Blake mentioned he was part of a Los Angeles based cheerleading squad, at which point I managed to persuade him to do a few naked cheers for us live on the air. Larry Flynt Gets Restraining Order Against Nephews
 In the latest development of the family feud, Larry Flynt of Hustler Video and Flynt Publications has successfully obtained a restraining order banning his nephews Dustin Flynt and Jimmy Flynt II from trading on their surname alone in the adult video market, as is the case with their current company name Flynt Media Corp. The order does state, however, that should they use their full names to differentiate the product per Larry's original request, ie. "Dustin Flynt Media Corp." or "Dustin & Jimmy's Pussy Cafe" ...they should be just fine. Why didn't they just agree to do that in the first place when Larry asked them? Because Flynt Media Corp. sounds and awful lot like Flynt Publications and could be easily confused with their uncle's brand name, instantly bringing them infinitely better distribution deals, and, let's face it ...more money for crack and more pussy at the cafe!
In other Larry Flynt news, the man in the golden wheelchair recently made a bid for a percentage of our government's bailout money to go towards the adult entertainment industry, showing figures that proved adult entertainment has suffered as much of a decline, if not moreso, than some of the corporations that have been given the bailout money.
At The AVN Awards last Saturday, Flynt made a statement from the stage. "We have the solution to what they're doing," referring to the foundering adult production companies, "and it's called bankruptcy, [but] my good friend [AVN Publisher] Paul Fishbein asked me if I would come out and say something positive to the industry. Well, if you remember a year ago when I spoke, I said about a year from now, half the companies that were in this business would no longer exist. I think that was right on the money. But I think this industry does have a strong future. We can no longer function the way we did in the past. Can't get a camera and a couple of models and go shoot a loop, put it on tape and expect it to sell. You have to create a quality product. You have to have quality performers, quality directors. The only thing that's gonna save this industry is the quality of the products it produces, and keep that in mind. As long as we remain excellent at what we do, we're gonna be around."

Dirty Secret Weekend (And Dirty Secret Photos!)
 I was a featured host at RentBoy.com's "Dirty. Secret. Party." last Saturday night at The Blue Moon Resort in Las Vegas and made an appearance at their pre-party on Friday night at Piranha and 8 1/2. The gorgeous muscle hunk Zeb Atlas was scheduled as the big headliner for Friday's pre-party, but managed to get on and off stage so quickly, I've yet to find any actual pics of his brief performance. Saturday's event was a heated pool party that brought out the masses from all over including the likes of Bruce Vilanch, Jonathan Chang, Sister Roma, Syren Vaughn and Angel Benton as everyone listened to the tunes spun by the fabulous Chi Chi LaRue! Featured porn star guests included usual FabScout Entertainment suspects Barrett Long, Jason Crew, Alessandro Del Toro, Dean Tucker, Phillip Ashton, Tory Mason, Dean Coxx and Diesel Washington -- but the event really served as a great launch pad for fans to meet a couple of FabScout's newest additions to the family, Spencer Stone and Josh Hart. Stone recently shot one of his first titles for Falcon Studios and Hart is a CockyBoys.com exclusive through December with his first scenes soon to be released on the site. And the always looking to please and pleasing to look at porn star Andrew Justice took the cake as "friendliest" of the night, shall we say? That boy stops at nothing to put a smile on the face of his admirers.

2009 AVN Award Winners Announced
 Pornstresses Belladonna and Jenna Haze, along with comedianne Thea Vidale, hosted The 2009 AVN Awards on Saturday night in Las Vegas, Nevada. Digital Playground's Pirates II, the sequel to the biggest budget movie in the history of adult cinema, swept the awards ceremony taking home Best Video Feature, Best Director for Joone, Best Actor for Evan Stone (pictured here) and many others. Hostess Haze herself won the prestigious Female Performer of the Year while Digital Playground's new contract girl on the block, Stoya, was given the crown for Best New Starlet.

Rod Barry Goes To Rehab
 Rod Barry checked himself into rehab on Monday! The 35-year old porn star and ex-marine says that he has battled alcohol addiction for 20 years. "I'm not quite sure why it took me this long, but I realized that I'm hurting not only myself, but the friends and family that I love. Now I'll get a chance to make amends and get healthy," he says. The in-patient program is 24 days and begins with a 3 day detox. "It's going to be a long 3 days," says Barry. You can do it, Rod! Hell, you've had longer days on some of those sets.

Larry Flynt Sues His Nephew!
 Larry Flynt is going to sue his nephew, Dustin Flynt! After years of working for Hustler and Larry Flynt Publications, Inc., Dustin has left the company to start his own Flynt Media Corp. along with his brother, Jimmy Flynt II. Larry is threatening legal action for trademark infringement and says in the documents that Flynt Media Corp. is manufacturing "inferior products" and "knock off goods."LFP, Inc. President, Michael Klein, told AVN this week: "We are obviously involved in a family battle, which we see as a case of egregious trademark infringement. The choice of Flynt Media Corp. as their company name and their use of Flynt as the name of their video line, infringe trademarks filed with the U.S. Patent and Trade Office, a trademark that has become world-famous over the past 35 years. Accordingly, they can't use that name alone. They're trying to free-ride on their uncle's famous last name at his expense."Meanwhile, Dustin Flynt told AVN that he and his company had no intention of changing the name and would continue to move full-steam ahead. I'm sorry, I'm not usually this mean these days, but allow me to shed some light for those of you who don't work in adult entertainment and know these people ...which, I suppose is essentially the purpose of this site. Dustin Flynt ...is a douchebag. I've known him since I was 19. He has the personality of Spencer Pratt ala his appearance on "Letterman" -- but douchier. He's used the Larry Flynt name and brand to get him money and pussy without ever having to lift a finger and anyone who works in the Hustler offices will tell you that he and Jimmy have always been in and out of different branches of that business scheming ways to get more money and get more pussy for themselves. Remember when The National Enquirer and Entertainment Weekly wrote stories about Snoop Dogg crashing my AVN Awards after party and being thrown out by Venetian Hotel security?
Well, what they didn't tell you is that the reason for all of that was actually Dustin Flynt!
Constant readers will remember the story of how I told Snoop and his boys they were more than welcome to come hang out in my suite and I even gave them my bedroom for privacy. But when I went to my bedroom door to grab my laptop, I was stopped by Dustin and told it was no longer my room and that I was not allowed in!
He got his mingons to stand at my door with him and block it until I called security and had him removed along with everyone in the room.
That was my first of many encounters with Dustin Flynt and surprisingly, the rest were downhill from there.
But don't take my word for it. Let's take a little trip back even further to 1998 when Dustin Flynt was found passed out in that hotel parking lot with the stripper and arrested for having a rock of crack in his pipe. This kid is a real class act! GayVN Holds Bareback Categories Until Next Year
 You may have noticed in a story posted on GayVN.com this morning that the much anticipated addition of bareback categories in this year's GayVN Awards are nowhere to be found in their list of new categories that instead includes: Best Top, Best Bottom, Best Cum Shot, Best Amateur Web Site, Best Twink Web Site, Best Bear Web Site, Best Web Performer of the Year, Best New Web Performer of the Year and Best Web Site of the Year. GayVN told me this morning that they have nixed the idea of adding bareback categories ...until NEXT year!
It seems, there will be a mandatory testing policy to be included in the bareback nominations (similar to the one the straight adult industry has) and the folks at GayVN felt it was unfair to implement this rule without having let the companies know. Well, bareback companies... now you know. So get those boys tested!
