So just days after being spotted having a fun and friendly luncheon together in Chicago, Matthew Rush verbally attacked Rob Romoni out of nowhere publicly yesterday evening on Twitter!
Rush said he was watching Gage Weston on A&E and that if Romoni spent as much time on his career as he did on Twitter maybe he could be on A&E too! He then went on to call Romoni "washed up" and said that he had "no life" and that "nobody cares" about him. Talk about a rampage! All entirely unprovoked!
All this just days after The Grabby Awards where Matthew Rush complained on stage while presenting Performer of the Year that he had never once been nominated for the honor. ...Well with all that kindness and generosity, it's hard to imagine how they've passed him by!
Meanwhile, one of the men who made Matthew Rush what he is today, Falcon Studios PR director Troy Prickett was nominated into the Wall of Fame at the ceremony. Perhaps Rush shouldn't have left them if he wanted such accolades. I don't think "Brief Encounters" is sweeping any categories this year.
Prickett was, after all, single handedly responsible for making that video disappear where Rush cries genuine tears about not getting to be the first to suck Zeb Atlas's dick on camera. And about how he thinks he'd been given a tapeworm from the incident of some kind if I correctly recall the ridiculous babble.
It is suspected that Rush's boyfriend dumped him this weekend. (Oh but why?)

Rob Romoni is one of the sweetest, funniest and I might add most sensitive souls our industry has to offer -- and thankfully he is not someone whose idea of success and happiness is based in his career or A&E, but instead in being generous in his friendships and to his fans.

It's a sad irony that the day after celebrating those who have fought vigilantly for this country, our government -- meant to protect us -- would invade our very bedrooms. Where we once seemed an intelligent nation, more and more we find other countries making us a laughing stock when it comes our own hypocrisy claiming the soil we stand upon represents that of freedom and equality.
United we stand, divided we fall. If we do not offer every person regardless of sex, race, sexuality, age... the same rights, the super power we know as America today will soon crumble around us.
But you can change this.
It has happened time and again throughout the history of this wonderful country, people's voices rising up to change our government's policies when they do not uphold the ideas of what America was founded upon.

I spent most of the afternoon blogging my Day Two entry of the Grabby Awards weekend timeline, up until it was time to grab some room service and get ready for the main event, The 2009 Grabby Awards ceremony hosted by Chi Chi LaRue, Honey West, Brent Corrigan, Wolf Hudson and Blake Riley!
5:30 pm: I headed up to host Chi Chi LaRue's suite for her to check my outfit. She put it together herself (girl knows what the boys look best in!) so for all of your complimenting me on it at the show, I have her to thank!
6:00 pm: Limo picked up C1R crew Chi Chi, Doug Jeffries, Blake Riley, Jeremy Bilding, Cameron Marshall and myself to head to The Grabby Awards. We grabbed Brandon Baker as we were heading out and threw him in the car with us! Fun to arrive with him too, another one of my best pals! I felt like I was truly with my peeps! ;-)
6:30 pm: As soon as we arrived on the scene, I began Twittering what I felt were the highlights and lowlights of the evening for the over 1,400 peeps now following the Jason Sechrest account at http://twitter.com/jasonsechrest. They were as follows:
- 6:40 pm: Just did red carpet and three interviews. Sitting at C1R's table. Great seats! Come say hi!

- 7:56 pm: Okay, the need music between these presenters and winners or the lack of applause will be deafening and it will bring it dooooown! This crowd is quiet!
- 8:06 pm: I made a joke earlier in the week on Twitter thanking the Grabby's for my suite, the fruit basket and Red Lobster gift certif! (They had given me none of the above.) So I was just presented with my award, KFC coupons. Thanks @grabbys!
- 8:30 pm: Chi Chi just asked Brent Corrigan if there's anyone here he's so annoyed with he could just KILL! LOL
- 9:04 pm: I am sure he said the same thing about me when I went on stage. Didn't he win the award for Biggest Dick last year? ...in more ways than one? @brentcorrigan00: I just got my first insult of the night from Trevor Knight. Why is he relevant again?
- 9:12 pm: I was asked to accept Best Cum Scene Award for Channel 1 Releasing's "Blackballed 6." Chi Chi was busy back stage and Doug Jeffries asked me to! So fun!!
- 9:38 pm: Falcon exclusive TJ Hawke is so stunningly beautiful, even moreso in person. Stands out from the rest somehow, don't know why. Someone up there tell him I said so.
- 9:45 pm: Gotta say... this show is usually a lot more fun with more energy from the audience.
- 9:54 pm: Chi Chi just introduced @brandonbaker to the stage as my boyfriend! ...I should be so lucky!
- 9:57 pm: Hot House director Steven Scarborough's speech acceping Lifetime Achievement was really moving. He seems like a really incredible soul. You feel it everytime you're around him.
- 10:01 pm: Wrapping up! ...See you at Charlie's for the after party!
10:30 pm: I spent most of the after party hanging with Chi Chi LaRue in the DJ booth or Howard Andrew and his boys with Sister Roma and Amanda Brandt in the dressing room backstage. Nice to not be the host so I didn't have to walk around the actual club too much, as it was so damned crowded! Packed with people!! Incredible!
2:00 am: I did the after party, but not the AFTER after party. ...And that proved to be a smart idea. I got 7 hours of sleep and felt so great in the morning heading to the airport instead of like death.
Raging Stallion took home more awards than any other studio, two of their movies tying at four trophies each, "To The Last Man" and "The Drifter," the latter of which actually took home a surprising win for Best Picture! The studio's exclusive Logan McCree also took home more awards than any other performer, including the coveted Best Actor. Steve Cruz an Diesel Washington shared Performer of the Year honors and Kyle King and Channel 1 Releasing exclusive Cameron Marshall were crowned Best Newcomers, marking the second year in a row that a C1R exclusive has taken home the award. Wall of Fame inductees this year included my pal Troy Prickett the PR and marketing director from Falcon Studios, Steve Jerome who has enjoyed an illustrious career most recently at Dirty Bird Pictures, and performers Spike and Robert Van Damme.

2:00 pm: Breakfast in bed while catching up on my emails, voice mails, MySpace, Facebook and Twitter accounts! Really glad everyone is enjoying the extra scoops they can get from http://twitter.com/jasonsechrest.
6:00 pm: My friend Essay met me in my room and we headed down to the lobby to catch cabs to "The Tim & Roma Show" (with Scott Tanner standing in for Tim) at Roscoe's in boy's town. Went with Chi Chi LaRue, Doug Jeffries, Jeremy Bilding, Cameron Marshall, Andrew Justice and Josh West.
6:40 pm: A bloody mary or frozen pear alcoholic bev later accompanied by the delish popcorn at Roscoe's and suddenly everyone is feeling a lot better!
7:00 pm: I met the guy who has been taking these gorgeous black and white pics for craigspoplife.blogspot.com. He's so talented and adorbale! Met his friend too... woof! Instant crush. All these porn stars around me and I still naturally gravitate to the boy next door in the corner. Argh! I should've given him my number.
7:15 pm: Pitchers of my favorite drink lemonade with Absolute Citron for only $13.00. Are you kidding?! I bought a few and was pouring it into glasses, serving it to performers and fans. I don't know how NOT to be a host at these things anymore!
7:30 pm: Angel Benton arrives. I chat with him briefly about the night before and help him find our mutal friend Frabice, as we had just been talking about him.
8:00 pm: Sat down and started watching the show. The funny thing is, lots of porn stars and lots of porn fans were Twittering during the show about whoever was on stage -- and that was often just as entertaining and hilarious as the show itself! For instance, Brent Corrigan announced he's staring in a new mainstream movie, "Big Gay Musical" and The Sword tweeted: "Is not Zac Efron. Does not sing." Michael Stabile cracks my shit up! I seriously thought I peed a little I laughed so hard. And Sister Roma's ability to get someone off stage by suddenly saying, "Well hey, thanks for stopping by!" had me in stitches.
9:00 pm: Brief chat with Brent Corrigan and he was very nice to me and even a little humble! Loved it. Niceness always makes someone so much hotter! Wished him luck writing his book (he announced he got a book deal too, by the way) because he is truly an amazing writer. Best porn star writer I can think of.
9:15 pm: Head with Chi Chi and our pal Troy Prickett (Falcon Studios PR maven) to The Lucky Horsehoe for the Raging Stallion party at Lucky Horseshoe with the above mentioned boys of C1R and Falcon.
10:30 pm: I'd had enough. Was still so exhausted from the night before and needed an evening of rest before the big day tomorrow! Left my peeps at the Horseshoe and headed back to the Hard Rock.
11:30 pm: The second I lay down in bed, I start getting texts from everyone that they left shortly after I did and that there's a small intimiate group having dirty martinis here in the hotel lobby: Chi Chi, Troy and Essay. They'd like me to join. ...I get out of bed.
Midnight: Within an hour and a half, our intimate group of four had full on become a mixer of our own with what must have been over 3 dozen porn stars and industry insiders just sitting around, hanging out, chatting and drinking. Even those missing from earlier in the evening arrived as well like Howard Andrew, Brandon Baker and all their boys. I've never seen anything like it. It was like one after another they found us and it became more and more fun.
2:00 am: Andrew Justice has some people back to the room and decides to screen Chi Chi LaRue's bisexual movie "Shifting Gears" with stars Wolf Hudson and Blake Riley sitting right there in the room! Jordan Jaric becomes disgusted and says he can't possibly stay around watching these guys eat pussy and bang vajay-jay. He makes a point of it as he and Aden leaves. But not before taking the star of the movie that disgusted him, Blake Riley, back to their hotel room with them!
We slowly disperssed over the next hour or so and made it back to our individual rooms to try to get some semblance of an evening's sleep before heading to The Grabby Awards tomorrow.
5:00 am: Only 4 hours of sleep after hosting "INDUSTRY" night at Numbers. Off to LAX!
6:00 am: Twittering all weekend updates and talking with friends and followers at http://twitter.com/jasonsechrest makes the cab ride go instantaneously!
7:00 am: Ran into C1R exclusive Jeremy Bilding at the airport who had been bumped from standby for two flights and was about to lose it!
8:00 am: There is a reason for everything though. Jeremy ended up on my flight, sitting right next to me. We've done so many road trips together. I guess it was time to do one in the sky! Trevor Knight was also on the plane.
3:00 pm: In Chicago, heading to The Hard Rock Hotel where most of the gay porn peeps will be staying for Grabby Awards Weekend.
3:30 pm: Greeted in the lobby by Chi Chi LaRue, Doug Jeffries, Ryan Raz (hole already activated for the day twice), Tommy Defendi (new and improved - looks gorgeous!) and a hot newcomer of Fabscout's!
5:30 pm: After checking in, I grab a quick bite at Subway with C1R exclusives Blake Riley, Cameron Marshall and Jeremy Bilding with C1R directors Chi Chi La Rue and Doug Jeffries. Doug nearly loses it on Subway sandwhich lady.
9:00 pm: Meet up with Chi Chi up in her tower suite - gorgeous! We grab the boys and take a limo (thanks C1R!) to Hydrate for the annual Chi Chi and FabScout kick off party, "Skin Trade."
9:30 pm: FUN EVENING! Hung out a lot with Jason Ridge, Ryan Raz and Sister Roma. Saw and spoke briefly with Matthew Rush, Roman Heart, Tyler Saint, Ricky Sinz, Brandon Baker, Angel Benton, Honey West, Erik West, Amanda Brandt, Andrew Justice, Velicity and I'm sure there's tons more I'm forgetting...
Midnight: The big surprise of the evening came when Falcon Studios brought their new exclusive, the drop dead gorgeous Ty Colt on stage to perform with Adam Killian! What a stunning young man and what a show!
2:00 am: I finally got to meet Randy Addison who is brand new to gay porn and lives in Chicago. He is represented through me for DV8 Casting. Was great to see him and catch up with he, Roma, my friend Essay and Chi Chi back at The Hard Rock for a bit before heading to bed.

Tristan Mathews was on his way to a shoot in a bad part of downtown Los Angeles last week when someone who thought they were being smart yelled "faggot" at him in Spanish and threw a can of soda at his head.
Gosh, anyone who knows Tristan Mathews knows he picked the wroooong "faggot" to fuck with!

I never condone violence of any kind as a solution, but I do love that Tristan Mathews stood up for himself and the rest of us.

I am loving the new trailer for Lucas Entertainment's"WALL STREET," directed by Michael Lucas and Mr. Pam. What a great team these two seem to make! World Premiere: RuPaul Tells Chi Chi "Don't Be Jealous!"
When RuPaul's television series, "RuPaul's Drag Race," did a video montage featuring all the famous drag queens in history, Chi Chi LaRue was nowhere to be seen! Naturally, the directrix was seething! She and Ru have been friends from way back!
Ru called Cheech and apologized, claiming it was a total oversight and that he considers the drag diva right up with her as the most famous "queens" in history.
So to make it up to LaRue, RuPaul cast her as the star of his latest music video, "Don't Be Jealous of My Boogie."

COLT Studio Group founder Jim French is suing the current owners Prowest Media, including COLT president John Rutherford, for failure to pay the remaining $1.24 million of an $2.2 million promissory note issued May 1, 2003, upon the company's sale by French to Prowest.
"As the old saying goes, 'There are two sides to every story.' We regret that Mr. French has chosen to pursue his differences legally where only lawyers will prosper," Rutherford told XBiz today, where the magazine also posted the court filing. "Please know that after nearly 20 years in this business learning from the best, we have every intention of working our differences out."
COLT was founded by French, an industry pioneer in 1967.
Rutherford is also the former president and head of production for Falcon Studios.
